Built for CASL-Compliant
Email Campaigns.
Under CASL, implied consent requires proof that an email was conspicuously published online. Our Ontario Realtor Database is the only realtor dataset that includes a documented Email Source URL for every single email — giving you the web evidence you need to assess CASL implied consent, record by record, before you send a single message.
Important: This page is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this data complies with CASL and all applicable laws. Consult a qualified legal professional before sending commercial electronic messages.
CASL Implied Consent Requires Proof.
We Give You the URL.
CASL Section 10(9)(b) permits implied consent when an email has been conspicuously published online without an opt-out statement, and your message is relevant to the recipient's professional role. But you cannot rely on that provision without being able to point to where the email was published. That is exactly what our Email Source URL field gives you — for every one of the 41,268 email records in the database.

Under CASL, you need to be able to show where an email was publicly published. The Source URL is that evidence — linking directly to the brokerage site, agent profile, or professional directory where the email appeared. Open it, verify it, document it. That is your CASL audit trail.
How the Email Source URL Powers
Your CASL Compliance
Under CASL, implied consent may exist when an email address has been conspicuously published online without a statement against contact, and your message is relevant to the recipient's professional role. The Email Source URL is what makes that determination possible.
CASL Section 10(9)(b) — Implied Consent via Conspicuous Publication
“A person's electronic address is conspicuously published… and the message is relevant to their business, role, functions or duties in a business or official capacity.”

Verify Conspicuous Publication
CASL's implied consent requires that the email was conspicuously published. The Email Source URL gives you the exact page to open and verify — a brokerage website, agent directory, professional profile page, or company site. Without this URL, you cannot verify conspicuous publication. With it, you can check every record.
Check for Opt-Out Statements
Implied consent does not apply if the publication is accompanied by a statement that the recipient does not wish to receive unsolicited messages. Because the Email Source URL takes you to the actual source page, you can review it before sending to confirm no such statement is present — something impossible with a typical email list.
Build an Auditable Compliance Record
If your outreach is ever scrutinized, a documented source URL for each email gives you evidence that the address was publicly published — and where. This auditable trail is what separates defensible outreach from undefendable list-blasting. No other data vendor in this space provides this by default.
Filter by Source Domain Type
With 9,365 unique source domains, you can segment your outreach by the nature of the source. Records sourced from official brokerage sites and professional directories carry a different profile than those from social platforms. Filter, prioritize, and structure your campaign by source domain to refine your compliance posture.
Relevance Is Already Established
CASL implied consent requires that your message is relevant to the recipient's professional role. Since every record in this database is a licensed Ontario real estate professional, and the database is designed for B2B outreach in the real estate sector, the relevance criterion is built into the nature of the product itself.
Confidence Scoring Adds Another Layer
In addition to source URLs, every email includes a numerical confidence score (average 87.92/100) and a confidence level (Very High, High, Medium). 82.46% of emails are High or Very High Confidence. This helps you further prioritize the records most likely to be deliverable and reliable.
Row-Level Assessment —
Made Possible by Source URLs
Assigning a blanket CASL status to every row in bulk would be too generalized. Whether implied consent applies to a specific record also depends on the context of the publication and the nature of the message being sent — factors that vary record by record.
The Email Source URL is what makes individual-record assessment possible. Because the source page is documented, you or your team can review each record before sending — rather than treating the entire list as either compliant or non-compliant wholesale.
This is a capability that a standard email list without sourcing simply cannot provide.
Row-Level Review Workflow

What Is CASL?
Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) came into force on July 1, 2014 and is one of the strictest anti-spam laws in the world.
Consent
You must have express or implied consent before sending a commercial electronic message. Implied consent exists in limited circumstances defined by CASL — including conspicuous publication of an email address.
Identification
Every message must clearly identify the sender — the person or organization sending the message and anyone on whose behalf it's sent — along with contact information.
Unsubscribe
Every message must include a working unsubscribe mechanism. Opt-out requests must be honored within 10 business days at no cost to the recipient.
Your Responsibilities as a Purchaser
Purchasing this database does not automatically authorize you to email every record. CASL compliance is the sender's responsibility.
Open and review the Email Source URL for each record before contacting.
Verify the email address is conspicuously published on the source page.
Confirm the source page contains no statement against unsolicited contact.
Ensure your message is relevant to the recipient's professional role in real estate.
Include your full legal name and contact information in every message.
Include a functioning, free unsubscribe mechanism in every message.
Do not assume implied consent applies to every record without per-record review.
Do not email records where the source page includes an opt-out or do-not-contact statement.
